Shells minute, tapering, translucent; spire loose with a thread-pitch longer than in Pyramidellidae or Turritellidae; whorls convex, with a deep suture. Columella unfolded. Anatomy: no radula.
 

Shell very slender, smooth, with a weak microsculpture of commarginal growth marks and spiral striae. Protoconch planorbiform, sinistral.
