Nudiscintilla cf. Nudiscintilla glabra
Lützen & Nielsen, 2005
The species was discovered in Andaman Sea (Thailand), intertidally. The present material belongs to a group of recent findings made in eastern Mediterranean (Israel, Turkey).

Shell inequivalve, with anterior smaller than the posterior; surface smooth, with irregular commarginal striae.
2m deep, Yumurtalık, Adana province, SE. Turkey. 4,1mm.
Same spot. 4mm.
Same spot. 9,7mm.
A difference in the dentition of the hinge between mediterranean shells and those from Thailand, and the presence of the single tentacle, placed anteriorly in N. glabra but posteriorly in the mediterranean live-collected specimens, lead to the conclusion that further studies have to be run on both groups (Albano & al., 2021).
