Pandora Bruguière, 1797:« Shell regular, inequivalve, inequilateral, transversely oblong, with a flattened upper valve and a convex lower valve; two cardinal teeth, oblong, divergent and unequal at the upper valve, two oblong fossae at the other valve; ligament internal.
