Crassatina Kobelt, 1881:Valves slightly inequilateral. Beaks prosogyrate. « The species […] are mostly small, flat, heavily sculpted with concentric ribs and mottled or flamed brown on a light background. They mostly belong to the Indian Ocean. The type is Crassatella triquetra Sowerby (Plate 103 fig. 22) from the sea of Indochina, almost triangular, quite bulbous, finely ribbed concentrically, whitish, drawn with brown lines, notably characterized by brown transverse bands on the lunula and the surface. » – W.
