Among many other habitats, acuta can be found in springs, feeding on biofilm. « Shell light horny yellowish, sometimes slightly transparent, pale shiny, apex pointed, 4-5 not very convex whorls without deep suture, aperture ¾ of shell height, columella and apertural lip in fully grown shells white. » (Animalbase). – Young shell found in the sink of the eastern warm spring of the Clue de la Fou, Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet, Pyrénées-Orientales. Altitude ≈ 280m. 5mm. |
