Comparison between a guilhemensis (2,1mm) and a rolandiana Bourguignat, 1863 from the same deposit (1,9mm). Instead of being shallow and spirally x radially arranged in rolandiana, the cupules of guilhemensis are deep and scattered along the spirals in a way that gives rise to some moire. This is especially marked on the subsutural ramp. |
