Distribution: Brasil, from Amapa to Rio Grande do Sul.
Size 10 to 20mm. 77m to 150m deep (Geiger & Poppe).

Sometimes considered as a southern subspecies of pourtalesii Dall 1881.
The difference can be given by is this orange colour, and the more slender shape.
