Mediterranean & adjacent. Filter feeder, locally abundant on shallow water rocks. Dautzenberg (Moll. marins du Roussillon) gives the following differences with minimus: test pale, sturdier, with a shorter shape, under a fawn-coloured periostracum. – Ghjunchitu bay, Isola Rossa, NW. Corsica. Sizes circa 8mm. |
