Iceland & Norway to Angola, Azores to Mediterranean. Suspension feeder, on muddy or muddy gravel bottoms, on the shelf. Original taxon: Lima loscombii. Synonym: bullata. Sculpture made up of thin sharp ribs, which generate the crenulation on the margins, separated by one to three minute riblets. – 100-150m deep, on coralligenous bottom rich of Bryozoa, off Circeo promontory, Latina, Lazio, W. Italy. 6,5mm. |
