Mediterranean, Black Sea. Synonyms: modestus, radiatus. Named variants: intermedia and elongata. On sand, Gallipoli, Lecce, Puglia, Italy. 13,5-15mm. « A polished shell, distinguished in all its varieties by a few concentric grooves on the posterior side, near the ventral margin. »
