Synonyms: adriatica, brevis, laevigatus… Top: shallow water, Marbella, Málaga, Andalucia, S. Spain. 29,5mm. With perio. Bottom: 1-1,5m deep, Marathon beach, Attiki, Greece. 29mm.

Variants atlantica, flaveola, maxima, ponderosa, subplanata… Beachstormed, near the entrance of Ayrolles lagoon, Gruissan, Occitania, S. France. 37-39mm.
