Crenella arenaria Monterosato, 1875 ex H. Martin, ms.

Azores to central Mediterranean. Intertidal to upper shelf. The species differs from pellucida by its slightly more marked concentric sculpture, the less prominent umbones, the shape strongly inequilateral; and from decussata by the absence of radials. – 100m deep, Saronic gulf, Attikí, Greece. 1,5mm.

Prodissoconches very close to each other, and not inclined toward a side. Microsculpture clearly visible.

Notice the crenulate cardinal tooth.
