Algarve to Mediterranean, in the infralittoral. Original taxon: Erycina geoffroyi. The shell is close to that of Bornia sebetia but the beaks are strongly prosogyrate; the shape, almost as markedly triangular, is, however, more isoceles, with a much more rounded posterior dorsal margin. 5m deep, Duilovo beach, Split, Dalmatia, S.
