Glossus Poli, 1795:Shell large, globose, with a brownish periostracum; synonym Isocardia Lamarck, who writes: « heart-shaped, with beaks distant to each other, coiled, diverging; two flat cardinal teeth, one lateral tooth isolated under the escutcheon. » – J.
