Sénégal to Alborán. Scavenger in the low infralittoral and the circalittoral. Original taxon: Nassa heynemanni. « Close to corniculum Olivi, but smaller, with an more obtuse apex; the upper whorls are adorned with dense spiral lines, and not radiating plicae [indeed, there are both sculptures, giving these first whorls a reticulate surface]. The base shows much more numerous spiral lines. Labial margin densely denticulate (circa 12 indentations). » – H.
