Tyrrhenian sea , Canale di Sicilia, Adriatic. Infralittoral in twilight zone, coralligen. The species differs from depressa by its open and deep umbilicus, and by the more convex whorls. The shell is smooth, some weak radials excepted; there is a false suture visible in fresh specimens. – Beach drift, Il-Bajja s-Sabiħa, Birżebbuġa, southeastern coast of Malta. 1,3mm.
