Shell conical, smooth, glossy, white, girded with a fawn-coloured band; whorls 5 to 6, rather flat, except the last one, which shows a very rounded base; the columellar tooth is conspicuous. There is some obscurity in the differentiation of minuscula-like species present in the Northeast Atlantic: whorls more or less flat, with or without spiral band…
