Theodoxus poppei Ahuir, 2020
N.  Morocco.
Grazer in freshwater streams.

The shell differs from those of africanus or arctilineatus by its slightly uncoiled spire; from those of baeticus and fluviatilis by the thickness of its walls and the pointing apex; from those of djedida and numidicus by its even more expanded and fat columellar callus. In any case, the thickness of the shell and its peculiar shape make this species unmistakeable. – Paratype 3; under stone at Douar Ellil, Moulaya river, NW. Berkane Province, N. Morocco. 8,05mm.
No periostracum. Axial sculpture made up of growth stops and numerous commarginal growth lines, all sinuous and prosocline. Same spot. 7,2mm.
