Adriatic and Ionian Sea. Predator in the infralittoral-circalittoral. Original taxon: Cylichnina crebrisculpta. « It has the shape of C. umbilicata, but is larger, more solid, dactyliform, deeply umbilicated and with a more attenuated vertex. The sculpture is composed of a crisscrossing of vertical and spiral striations, which give it a rough appearance. » – T.
