Strait of Gibraltar. Grazer and detritus feeder in the shallow infralittoral. Original taxon: Rissoa testudae. Close to Pusillina inconspicua but with fewer and stronger radials, and a less pointy apex. The whorls are extremely convex, « almost disconnected » (A. Verduin) by a marked sutural furrow. The species is « Dedicated to Mlle. Anne Marie Testud of the Paris museum. » – Above, a specimen from Tarifa, S. Cádiz province, SW. Andalucia, S. Spain. 1,1mm. Original pictures provided by A.
