Pusia granum (Forbes, 1844)

Mediterranean. Predator in the upper infralittoral. Original taxon: Mitra granum. 2-4m deep, on rocks, Isola Rossa, NW. Corsica. 4-5,1mm. The patterns are clearly different from those found on tricolor.

The whorls are smooth, while they are a bit costate in tricolor. 8m deep, at base of submarine bank of conglomerate, 600m E. of Mochlos, NE. of Kolpos Mirabellou, Lassithi, N. Crete. 6mm.

Dark variant of the form “littoralis”. 3m deep, in the harbour near the southern jetty, Methóni, Messinia, SW. Peloponnese, SW. Greece. 7,4mm.
