Predator in the infralittoral and the upper circalittoral.
Original taxon: Pleurotoma vauquelini.
Shallow water, bottom of rough sand and gravel on rocky substratum, near patches of Posidonia, Ghjunchitu bay, Isola Rossa, NW. Corsica. 7mm.
Trawled at 30-40m deep, off Málaga, Andalucia, S. Spain. 9mm.
A typical feature is the weakness of the spiral cords.
