Pelseneeria sp.1 |
Algarve to Alborán sea. By the unusually large size and by its shape, this specimen looks more like Pelseneeria stylifera Turton, than like the usual P. minor from Mediterranean (Delongueville, Scaillet & Swinnen, 2011). The present specimen was collected off Marbella, Málaga, Andalucia, S. Spain. Its large size: 5,7mm, and the reduced mucro, bring it close to this peculiar iberian population. Original pictures J.M.
