Shell thin, translucent, with an umbilical slit; protoconch of type B. teleoconch whorls 3, convex, separated by a deep suture; sculpture made up of numerous sharp radial orthocline ribs, crossed by a higher number of minute spiral striae. No columellar fold. – Above and below: subadult specimen collected in beach drift, Il-Bajja s-Sabiħa, Birżebbuġa, southeastern coast of Malta. 1,3mm. The species is named after Michaela Cachia, niece of the author.
