Northern half of the Adriatic, south to the Selvagen in the Atlantic. Ectoparasit in the circalittoral. Protoconch of type B, sometimes tending to C. Teleoconch globose, with a very short spire. The suture is marked but thin; growth marks and lip slightly prosocline. There is a columellar tooth, not always conspicuous; « I dedicate this species to Dr. G. D.
