Worldwide warm seas. Swimming suspension feeder in the neritic zone. Original taxon: Atlanta bulimoides. This is the Limacina with the highest spire. The suture is less marked and the whorls less convex than in retroversa. Above: dead shell found at 1000m deep, off Capo Teulada, SW. Cagliari, S. Sardinia. 1,5mm. |
