(?)Lepetella barrajoni Dantart & Luque, 1994 |
Possibly amphiatlantic (North carolina). Cantabrian Sea to Canarias, possibly into western Mediterranean. Grazer on organic substrates, in the detritic bottoms from the low circalittoral to the continental slope. The only visible morphological difference with espinosae is a larger size of the shell. Above, a possible specimen collected at 100m deep, off Ġnejna bay, L-Imġarr, northwestern coast of Malta. 3,2mm. Source: gruppomalacologicoscalaria.org. Original pictures provided by A.
