S. Turkey to Israel, Gulf of Aqaba… Ectoparasite on unknown echinoderms of the infralittoral, maybe deeper. Original taxon: Sticteulima clandestina. Two brownish spiral bands per whorl: one a little above the periphery, one far below; the latter, always hidden under the suture, appears only on the last whorl. – Above: holotype NMNHM 15428 at the National Museum of Natural History Mdina, Malta.
