Mighels: “ Descriptions of shells from the Sandwich Islands, and other localities”, Proceedings of the Boston Society of Natural History vol. II, Boston 1845-1848, p.22. The shell of this species differs from that of fallaciosus by its smaller size, its larger sculpture made up of fewer spirals, a less elevated spire; the sutural row of button is broader than the subsutural one, while both are of equal strength in fallaciosus. – Above: 65m deep, Saronic Gulf. 7,6mm.
