Algarve to Mediterranean. Predator on sessile preys in the infralittoral - circalittoral. « Closely spaced radiating costae of equal strength; concentric cords very thin, giving the costae a squamous appearance » (Locard). Philippi (Enumeratio p.115) describes them as « confertis, decussato-granulatis. »
