Eatonina ochroleuca (Brusina, 1869)
Mediterranean.
Grazer and detritus feeder in the upper half of the infralittoral.
Non planktotrophic. Original taxon: Setia ochroleuca.
 
« Shell minute, ovate-conical, subumbilicated, compact, opaque, very smooth; spire short, a little obtuse apically; whorls 4, somewhat flat, the last one as tall as the spire; suture marked; aperture subcircular; labrum sharp, uninterrupted along the peristome; colour orangy variegated with flexuous radials or white blotches. » – S. Brusina: “Gastéropodes nouveaux de l’Adriatique”, Journal de Conchyliologie vol. 17(3), Paris 1869, p.247. – 4-5m deep, Algeciras, Andalucia, S. Spain. 1mm.
The larval stage is about as short as in cossurae.
