Curveulima devians (Monterosato, 1884)
Skagerrak to Canarias, to Mediterranean. Infralittoral to continental shelf and slope (Rockall basin, 603m).
Ectoparasite of unknown echinoderms.
Original taxon: Vitreolina devians. Synonym: parfaiti.
 
« Two strong constant deviations, which make the shells arched on the dorsal and buccal sides, and another near the tip, which is mammillated. Whorls and aperture compressed. The double curvature of the shell, associated with a labial expansion very anteriorly placed, build a typical feature. 14m deep, on sand, est of the small venetian fortress, Methóni, Messinia, SW. Peloponnese, SW. Greece. 3,8mm.
