Close to simulans but with a stronger axial sculpture, and more marked sutural spirals, especially the bead located just above the suture, the latter appearing hence rather incised. The species is named after Angelina Gaglini, « squisita persona ed amica » – B. Amati: “Alvania gagliniae sp. n. (Gastropoda; Prosobranchia)”, Notiziario del C.I.S.MA. vol.6, p.35-41. |
