Alborán Sea to W. Mediterranean. Shallow water to lower infralittoral. Scavenger and predator. Original taxon: Buccinum candidissimum. There is also a form named “tenuisculpta” Dautzenberg. 30m deep, muddy sand with grass, SW. coast of Malta. 9mm. |
