Ascobulla fragilis (Jeffreys, 1856)
Canarias and Madeira to Mediterranean.
Grazer on algae in the infralittoral.
Original taxon: Cylichna fragilis.
Above and below: 20m deep, southern coast of Mljet island, Dubrovnik-Neretva Comitat, S. Croatia. Size about 3mm.

« Shell cylindrical, very shining, hyaline; constricted and longitudinally striate at apex, elsewhere very smooth; spire loosely involute; vertex little conspicuous, obliquely attenuated. Aperture narrow above, dilated below and truncate. […] The “Washington” specimens are adult.
