Alvania bozcaadensis Tisselli & Giunchi, 2013
NE. Aegean. Probably elsewhere in the region.
Grazer and detritus feeder in the infralittoral.

An important difference with campanii or datchaensis is given by the entirely smooth protoconch. The teleoconch starts with two spiral cords instead of three like in A. claudioi, crossed by very obsolete radials, while the latter are much more obvious in lanciae. In addition, the radial folds are slightly opisthocline, and the basal spirals are less marked than in lanciae. Inner lip denticulate in fully adult specimens.

8m deep, Bozcaada island (type locality), Çanakkale, W. Marmara, NW. Turkey. 2,4mm.
The transition protoconch / teleoconch in bozcaadensis.
12m deep, Bozcaada island. 2,8mm.
Same spot. 2,2mm.
