The shells look somewhat like juveniles of Nassariids; they are small, potbellied, with a large last whorl under a conical spire, a folded columella, an anterior siphonal notch, a thick lip, and some spiral sculpture. |

Ringicula Deshayes, 1838:Protoconch dome-shaped, smooth, paucispiral. Teleoconch: whorls convex, especially the last one, and spirally striated. Aperture narrowed adapically; columella with two strong plaits anteriorly and sometimes other denticles posteriorly. |
