A family of sea-hares, some of them bearing a thin, internal shell. Apex placed very posteriorly; aperture wide; labial margin fragile.

Shell small, auriform, calcareous, depressed posteriorly, more gibbous than in Berthella; microsculpture of spirally arranged pits of various sizes.
