This (not yet firmly positioned) family from minute deep water species was introduced to host the genus Pendroma Dall, 1927. The shells are « subturbiniform », umbilicate, thin, somewhat translucent, with at least some spiral and radial microsculpture. Suture deep.
 

Seen from the base, the aperture is D-shaped, the umbilicus deep.
